The Android app MapFix has access to your GPS location, your camera, your SD storage and your internet connection. These requirements are necessary for the app to run. No personal information is collected and all your private data remains on your phone.
The app uses your phone’s GPS device to calibrate photos of maps.
The app allows you to take photos of maps with and calibrate them for your GPS device.
Your photographed maps are stored on your SD card together with calibration information.
Having a connection to the internet improves the accuracy of your GPS device. Your internet connection is used for nothing else and your app will work without it.
